What is occupational therapy? I didn’t know what was that until I did a website for a company called, “Redefind Therapy Centre“. I didn’t even know such term existed! How ignorant.

Basically, what an occupational therapist does is that he/she helps stroke patients to return to their original pre-stroke condition as much as possible so that they can go about doing things they used to do before the stroke happened.

This is the definition taken from their website: “Occupational therapy is a healthcare profession and the occupational therapist is a crucial member of the rehabilitation team. An occupational therapist uses daily activities (such as dressing, cooking) to train clients with physical, cognitive or mental health conditions to be able to function in their lives and activities despite their disabilities.”
