Was reading my Gen 1 – 3 the other day and discovered something about satan’s strategy. Here’s my take.

Gen 3:1 says, “Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say,…?” From this verse, we can see one of satan’s favourite strategies: To cause God’s children to doubt His Word, His promises He has for them and their position with God.

satan even used a similar strategy to ‘trick’ Jesus! In Mat 4:3 & 5 and Luk 4:3 & 9, he told Jesus, “If You are the Son of God…” See, he always used question to raise doubt in our mind. So be aware, anytime you have doubt about God’s Word and His promises, know that such thoughts did not originate from you! Simply ignore them or rebuke them in the Name of Jesus.
