But ESPECIALLY those from Caesar’s household.

All the saints greet you, but especially those from Caesar’s household.“  Phil 4:22

Have you ever wondered why did Paul add the above verse in his parting words to the Philippians? “… but especially those from Caesar’s household.” Hmmm, why should ‘those from Ceasar’s household’, the very people who threw Christians into prisons, send greetings to the Christians in Philippi?  And Paul even emphasise it with the word, ‘especially‘!
Not unless they had become Christians too, right?  And how could Paul convert them?  Wasn’t it because he was in Ceasar’s prison?  So isn’t it obvious that “all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.” (Rom 8:28)?

Dear Brothers and Sisters, are you in a position right now where you’re wondering, or even complaining why did God put you there?  Could it be that He has a purpose for you?  Could it be the case of Phil 4:22?  I don’t know.  Ask God.  Wait on Him. And trust that He’ll reveal to you.  Remember, those who trust in the Lord shall renew their strength! (Isa 40:31)
